I know I know what your thinking. You are too cool to be a fantasy geek. Absolutely not I am probably one of the most fantasy obsesses people I know. Which leads me to the much anticipated season 2 of Game of thrones which kicks off tomorrow on HBO.
I am going to be popping on once a week with a review on the series as its one of my favourite on TV. It got me hooked on the world of Westeros and since stumbling across it last spring I lost about 4 months of my life reading George RR Martins tale. I can not wait for the next book to be released but thankfully the TV series will hopefully be able to reduce the cravings. Almost like nicotine patches for smokers.
Season 2 will follow on from where season 1 finished wont go into much detail regarding that but it has resulted in a split within Westeros and there are soon to be 5 would be kings. Civil war will break out AND I AM PUMPED.
I am very much looking forward to the HBO take on the new characters. The Wildling Ygritte with her hair that is kissed by fire. The cold Roose Bolton and the honourable Stanis Baratheon. As well as old favourites like John Snow, Robb Stark, Arrya Stark and Tyrion Lanniester.
These are just a small selection of the characters I fell in love with.
HBO did a fantastic job last season and I am sure that they will be able to follow up on that as with the series that is based on the second book Clash of Kings.
I'll update with review on Tuesday.

Death by circuit training!!!
Wooooah!!!
I almost forgot I had a blog. Absolutely deplorable of me. My wee wife started a blog recently and it reminded me that I hadn't updated mine for a while. I'm still sadly trying to come up with a purpose or topic to this blog. I am no further ahead.
Well since my last blog I had to go the dentist. This was a dreadful time for me you see I dont like pain. I had to get several fillings and wisdom tooth extraction. Why do dentist ask you questions when your mouth is wide open and your only response is eurgghhhhh. I think they find it funny :).
As I mentioned previously I have given up smoking and am now at 28 days. Awooooga :)
As I have stopped smoking I decided that a good way to keep myself occupied and my mind off of the nicotine would be to go back to the gym. I decided to go back tonight and do some circuit training. i thought it would be easy as I used to do these things for fun. Safe to say that the work out was possibly one of the hardest and most painful workouts I have ever done in my life. I did one full circuit and had to give up as my body couldn't do any more. This has given me more motivation though as I embark on my mind altering substance free life to get fitter and healthier so that I can enjoy my life to the fullest.
I am very much looking forward to the next gym session and can't wait to feel fitter and look HAWT haha. I will keep you posted on this.

Cup Final Birthday
Ola,
Thought I would give a wee update!!!
Yesterday was a good fun filled day :) Met with friends to celebrate my birthday! This was pretty awesome to be honest and I got a very big chocolate cake!!!! It's the devil I tells ya. Got loads of lovely cards and some gifts which is always good! I can't help it i like attention haha!!!
Once this was finished had to meet with the good lady. She took me shopping for some grub and munchies. This was much appreciated as I'm heavy skinto. Recently stopped smoking the evil stick which has resulted on me being heavy hungry. ended up buying crisps and pop tarts mostly. mmmmmmmmm pop tarts. i had a very sheltered up bringing you see and had never tried pop tarts till yesterday. They were rather nice although i fail to see how they can give children the required vitemans and minerals that they will need to get on with the rest of their day.
After shopping it was time for the biggest event in the football calender. (exception of World Cup and Euro) The Champions League final. A massive game between 2 giants of the game. Manchester United and FC Barcelona. Man utd have some fantastic football players and are the champions of the English Premier leauge, FC Barcelona are the champions of La Liga. As good as Man U are though they could scarcely compete with Barcelona. Messi and co ran riot at Wembley stadium and won the game 3-1 to be fair this was flattering to Man U. To be honest though man U couldn't have done anything about this Barcelona are potentially the greatest club team that have ever walked the face of this earth. They will surely be favourites to win the tournemant for a good few years to come.
My wife and brother in law are die hard Man U fans to to take their mind off of their teams horrible display we went to the cinema to watch the much anticipated Hangover 2. I'm going to be honest i thought it would be pretty bad. I was pleasantly surprised. At times the movie was hilarious I would 100% recommend anyone to go watch this movie. Oh keep an eye out for the monkey who stole the whole show :). So after all of this it was time for bed and another day was done! knowing that you wont wake up with a hangover tomorrow is a wonderful feeling :)

What to Blog About?
Hello,
A good friend of mine has recommended that I start myself one of these wee blog things. it may be mainly due to the fact that she wished me to stop interrupting her during some important work thing. (Fat Chance)
I decided to give it a shot and see if it will re leave me of boredom. This seemed like a good idea at first, however now that I am here I am now stuck with the mortal dilemma of what I will blog about?
Will I use my blog as if it's a diary and report on my day to day life and how mundane it is?
Will I use my blog to give you my knowledge and expertise of a topic that is so geeky that it can only be mentioned on a blog? My love affair for Managa and Anime :)
Will I use my blog to criticise local fish and chip shops on whether or not their chips are of Grad A quality?
One thing I do know is that my blog will not be about recession, famine or war or the now infamous super injunctions as these are topics that I either find too serious. Or the Super Injunction is really just a farce and plus i might accidentally say a name of a said footballer and find my self in shackles and receiving a visit from Big Bubba!!!!
I will report back tomorrow if I have made a decision.
